Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Guests enjoy a flexible self check-in process; there is no need to stop at our office upon arrival. We do recommend arriving before dark when possible. If you have any questions before, during, or after your stay, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests should be packed and ready to leave by this time, as our housekeeping starts right at 11:00. No late check-outs please.

No. We currently do not have RV, Camper, Trailer, or Car Camping sites, and we do not allow vehicle camping at this time.
Due to limited parking, we can only accommodate vehicles that fit in a conventional parking space in our parking area. Oversize vehicles and vehicles with trailers require written approval before entering the property.
No. Campsites are a short 2-3 minute walk from the parking area, and you will not be permitted to sleep in the parking lot. We do not have drive-up sites for car camping.
We currently do not have pet accommodations available.
The campground is surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Campground trails do not connect directly to the national park trails, but there are many trailheads easily accessible by car. The Towpath Trail is a walkable distance from the campground.
Most campsites are equipped with fire pits with a grill attachment - check the individual site listing for details. Fires should be made from seasoned hardwood only.
To mitigate the possible impact of invasive species, transporting outside firewood is prohibited at Valley Overlook. We have firewood for sale on site.
No. Due to multiple tree pest infestations and state & federal regulations, we do not allow outside firewood. Valley Overlook has firewood for sale with minimal markup to make your stay enjoyable while protecting our ecosystem. We do not provide case-by-case exceptions to this policy.
No. There is not a safe, convenient route to Blossom on foot. Blossom is a quick drive from Valley Overlook. Plan accordingly, as there is often traffic on Akron Peninsula Road before a show.
We highly recommend that you plan your own transportation, rather than relying on ridesharing services.
There are showers and flush toilets available on site, just a short walk from the campsites.
Your reservation includes the people in your party. All visitors must be approved in advance, and in writing by Valley Overlook management.
Climate control is available in some units. Please check the individual listings for specifics on whether air conditioning and heating is available.
Yes, city water from Akron is available outside our office. Water is not available at individual campsites. Be aware that cold weather may affect the availability of water from our outdoor spout.
Yes, WIFI service is available on the premises. However, connectivity may not be available at all sites.
In our experience, cell phone coverage is available throughout the campground. However, we cannot guarantee coverage.
Because of our size, cancellations have a large impact on our business. Because of this, we have a relatively strict cancellation policy. Advance cancellation charges help to offset our credit card processing fee.
