What to Expect at
Your Stay

Situated on our 62 wooded acres, guests need only step out of their tent or cabin to find themselves immersed in the great outdoors. Hike from your campsite up to the ridge line for a beautiful sunset view overlooking the valley, or venture into the surrounding park for more adventures.

We are located minutes from an extensive network of hiking trails, bike paths, river kayaking, farmers markets, a swimming quarry, ski slopes and much more. Don't have a bike or kayak? No problem, as there are several local rental options!

Looking for a place to watch live music? Check out Blossom Music Center! This outdoor venue is just a short drive away from Valley Overlook and hosts many of the region’s premier music events, from popular acts from all decades and genres to the Cleveland Orchestra.

Village of Peninsula

Experience the historic and picturesque Village of Peninsula. Enjoy dining options, shop for local provisions, antiques, park memorabilia, and more in this historic small town. There's also a Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad station to catch the train (tickets required). Easily accessible by bicycle on the Towpath trail, or a short drive.

The Countryside Initiative was created to help protect the landscape in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Initiative helps CVNP manage sustainable farming programs and is a national model of sustainable land use. The farmers that are a part of the Initiative welcome CVNP visitors, offering a myriad of experiences including berry picking, markets, dining, a Summer Solstice Wine, Art & Music Festival, and other classes & special events.
